We make anime cards two ways, and the right one depends on the art you want to carry.

Choose laser engraving for linework.

Engraving suits portraits, emblems, and bold high-contrast art. The design is cut into the steel, so it reads like the inked page and never wears off. Every card in this collection is made this way.

Choose UV color for full-color artwork

UV printing suits vivid color, gradients, and full scenes, including trading card reproductions. It puts the full palette on metal rather than steel tones.

How It Works

Your card gets re-engineered, not recreated. We transplant your real EMV chip into a metal body, so your account number and bank never change. Simple on your end, precise on ours.

• Order: Pick a design and get a prepaid, tracked label by email.
• Ship: Send your card, or freeze it first. We never ask for your PIN.
• Approve: Sign off on the emailed mockup before anything is made.
• Receive: Both cards come back together with tracking.

Does an anime design change how the card works?

No. Chip insert and swipe work anywhere your original card worked, and you can tap through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Wallet. Just avoid ATMs that pull the card fully inside.

Can I request a character that is not in the presets?

Often, yes. Share your reference with a custom order and our team builds a mockup for approval. Restricted artwork gets flagged up front, and we help you find an alternative.

Can I put two characters or a full scene on one card?

Usually. Front and back are both engravable, giving you two full faces to work with. Busy compositions sometimes need simplifying to read well in metal, and your mockup shows how it lands.

Will the engraving survive daily use?

Yes. The design is cut into the steel, so there is no layer to lift or fade. Keeping it in its own wallet slot away from keys and coins keeps it looking new.

Which of my cards should I send?

Credit, debit, prepaid, and hybrid cards all work. Apple Card is not compatible. Many customers send a secondary card rather than their daily driver, or an unactivated replacement.

Is it safe to mail you my card?

Yes. Lion Card is PCI compliant, BBB A+ accredited, and we guarantee a safe process or your money back. Freeze your card before mailing it, and we never ask for your PIN or passwords.
