Upgrade Any Credit Card Into a Games Metal Card
Your hours are in the games. Your achievements, your mains, your best runs. Then you pay for the next one with a card that says nothing.
Lion Card converts your plastic credit, debit, or prepaid card into a laser-engraved games metal card via our patented EMV chip transplant, U.S. Patent No. 11,562,194, trusted by over 50,000 customers since 2015.
Still your card. Same account, same number, same bank. Now it shows what you play.
Why Gamers Choose Engraved Metal
Gaming merch usually lives on a desk or a shelf. This one loads into your wallet and runs every day.
- Pixel-sharp in steel: Engraving holds hard edges and fine detail, so sprites, sigils, and emblems stay crisp at card size.
- No wear state: A printed card fades and a skin peels. Engraving is removed metal that daily carry will not erase.
- 28 grams of drop weight: A plastic card weighs about 6 grams. Yours weighs 28, and every handoff feels it.
- Flex at every checkout: Your setup stays home. This one comes to the counter.
- Preset or fully custom: Pick a design above, or bring your own emblem or character to our custom team.
Retro Pixels or Modern Emblems: How to Choose
Game art spans two visual languages, and each engraves differently.
Choose pixel and sprite styling for retro
Blocky sprites and 8-bit lettering are pure high-contrast geometry, which engraving reproduces perfectly. Every edge lands where the artist placed it. If your era is arcades and cartridges, this is your lane.
Choose emblems and sigils for modern titles
Faction crests, class icons, and clan marks read like heraldry, bold shapes with fine interior detail. Engraving cuts them into the steel at full sharpness.

How It Works
Your card gets re-engineered, not recreated. We transplant your real EMV chip into a metal body, so your account number and bank never change. Simple on your end, precise on ours.
- Order: Pick a design and get a prepaid, tracked label by email.
- Ship: Send your card, or freeze it first. We never ask for your PIN.
- Approve: Sign off on the emailed mockup before anything is made.
- Receive: Both cards come back together with tracking.

FAQs
Does a gaming design change how the card works?
No. Chip insert and swipe work anywhere your original card worked, and you can tap through Apple Pay or Google Pay. Just avoid ATMs that pull the card fully in.
Can I put my gamertag or clan tag on the card?
Yes, tags and handles are common additions. They engrave alongside the main design, and your mockup shows placement before we cut. The card travels publicly, so choose what you are comfortable showing.
Can you engrave art from a specific game?
Share your reference with a custom order, and our team confirms what can be produced. Rights-restricted artwork is flagged up front with an alternative. The approved mockup is exactly what gets engraved.
Does pixel art actually look good in metal?
Yes, arguably better than any other style. Pixel art is built from hard edges and flat contrast, which is precisely what a laser renders cleanest. The grid stays perfectly square at card scale.
Can I do a two-sided design, front and back?
Yes. Both faces are engravable, so many gamers run an emblem front and a tag or quote back. Your mockup covers both sides before production.
